INTRODUCING:Twin A by Bonnie Brown. She comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This beautiful little boy or girl wears PREEMIE to NEWBORN size clothing. Sizing is a preference as some preemie is a little snug and some newborn clothing is a little big. She has 3/4 arms and full legs. She weighs 4 pounds 10 ounces and is 17" in length with bent legs.
This one has some newborn features such as capillaries, milk bumps on the nose, baby pimple and a baby scratch on the cheek. I also added some light peeling skin on her hands and feet.
This is a special little Twin A. Her limbs and head are filled with a silicone like substance called Plastisol which makes the limbs squishy. I also added a belly pouch of the Plastisol in which I sealed and placed in a fabric sleeve inside the body. Please see details at a glance for more information.

DETAILS AT A GLANCE: She has been painted using Genesis Heat Set Paints which will not rub off or fade then finished with a various Genesis varnishes. I am currently using the new Genesis matte although is not as matte as before but I have added matting powder.
I have used my own techniques, working in ultra fine layers to create a beautiful translucent coloring with subtle mottling and veining. Every single part of this baby has been given fine attention to detail; nothing has been overlooked, right down to the markings on their head. She has beautifully rooted dark brown mohair with shades mixed in. Her eyelashes are rooted with matching mohair.
She is realistically weighted using ultrafine glass granules, tiny poly pellets and top quality fiber. They are safe to travel worldwide. Her head is weighted with glass granules and fiber giving them the lovely, but subtle, 'flop factor' that small babies do have and this will need supporting. They feel so incredibly real snuggled in your arms.... a truly realistic weight! She has a superior doe suede body with cable ties made especially for her. She has 3/4 arms and full legs. This was made from a vinyl kit with full limbs. His head is weighted with Plastisol instead of glass granules giving him the lovely, but subtle, 'flop factor' that small babies do have and this will need supporting. *Information about Plastisol. Plastisol when filled in the vinyl parts give her a more squishy and silicone like feel. The head is more solid but not noticeably different than my regular reborn heads. I like the solid feel but it is not as viable as the limbs. The limbs in my opinion are the best part of the realistic feel. I have researched this process for a while. After another artist explained the process and extensive knowledge of the product, along with her many years of using it I had to give it a go. I am very pleased with the outcome and feel my customers will be too. In this form it is not toxic inside the limbs but just as with the glass beads it is not safe to consume.
