SAM by Grudrun Legler with Certificate of Authenticity. This beautiful little boy or girl wears newborn size clothing. He has full arms and full legs. He weighs approximately 5 pounds 8 ounces and is 19" in length with bent legs. He has lightly visible lunago as well as barely there eyebrows painted. This one also has some newborn features such as capillaries, milk bumps on the nose, baby pimple and a baby scratch on the cheek.

DETAILS AT A GLANCE: He has been painted using Genesis Heat Set Paints which will not rub off or fade then finished with a subtle layer of matte varnish. I have used my own techniques, working in ultra fine layers to create a beautiful translucent coloring with subtle mottling and veining.
Every single part of this baby has been given fine attention to detail; nothing has been overlooked, right down to the markings on their head beneath his beautiful hair. His hair has been rooted with blonde mohair and the eyelashes are rooted with matching mohair.
This was made from a vinyl kit with full limbs. His head is weighted with Plastisol instead of glass granules giving him the lovely, but subtle, 'flop factor' that small babies do have and this will need supporting.
*Information about Plastisol. Plastisol when filled in the vinyl parts give him a more squishy and silicone like feel. The head is more solid but not noticeably different than my regular reborn heads. I like the solid feel but it is not as viable as the limbs. The limbs in my opinion are the best part of the realistic feel. I have researched this process for a while. After another artist explained the process and extensive knowledge of the product, along with her many years of using it I had to give it a go. I am very pleased with the outcome and feel my customers will be too. In this form it is not toxic inside the limbs but just as with the glass beads it is not safe to consume.
He has a superior doe suede body with cable ties made especially for her. I purposedly did not fully stuff the body that came with the kit. I left room as it did not proportionaly fit fully stuffed and is more posable. He is realistically weighted using polly pellets and top quality fiber. They are safe to travel worldwide.
He has a magnetic pacifier with a magnet inside the head. Please use caution if you have a medical condition that will be affected by such.
None of my photographs have been enhanced in any way. Some photographs may appear dull due to the overcast weather. I take my own pictures therefore they are not taken by a professional photographer.
